Privacy Policy

ShotXpense is operated by PT Titian Rampoeng Nusantara (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the ShotXpense mobile application and this website, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we store the email address associated with your Google or Apple sign-in. You may also use the app as a guest, in which case no email is collected.
• Expense data. The entries you create — merchant, amount, currency, date, category and any notes — together with receipt images you choose to capture.
• Usage and diagnostics. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics about how features are used, so we can tell which parts of the app are working and which are not.
• Purchase records. When you buy credits or a subscription, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We receive a receipt identifier to verify the purchase and add credits to your balance. We never see or store your card details.

How receipt processing works

When you scan a receipt or dictate an expense, the image or transcript is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to Google’s Gemini API to extract the structured fields. The result is returned to your device and saved as an expense entry.

We do not use your receipts or expense data to train AI models, and we do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Where your data lives

Expenses are written to your device first, so the app works without a connection. If you are signed in, they are also backed up to your private area of our Google Firebase project. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and encrypted at rest by the hosting provider. Access rules restrict every record and every receipt image to the account that created it.

Your choices

• Use it anonymously. Guest mode requires no email and no personal details.
• Export everything. You can export your full history to PDF or Excel at any time, on any plan.
• Delete everything. Deleting your account from within the app permanently removes your expense records and stored receipt images from our systems, along with the account itself.

Children

ShotXpense is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
